Wow. I saw Dr Alison Grimston this week. After a year of complex symptoms and other doctors telling me it’s just anxiety or not offering helpful solutions, Dr Grimston was an absolute breath of fresh air. She listened to me properly and I didn’t feel like I had to hold back exactly how I was feeling. She agreed I needed referrals, when I have asked other doctors about the conditions and referrals and been refused. Dr Grimston is so knowledgeable. She gave amazing suggestions and I finally feel like I have some clarity in terms of medical conditions and what to do to support myself. She has great personal skills; is kind, empathetic and just the loveliest person I have ever dealt with in a medical setting. I actually left the appointment feeling like I could breathe and a weight had been lifted and my partner kept commenting how impressed he was was also. I would even go as far to say if I had the option to only ever see her as my GP I would take it. Blown away by the standard of care.

Dr Grimston listened to mums concerns and actioned immediately changes to her medication and reviewed her medication that was well overdue, she was understanding and sympathetic to mums concerns.The care given was excellent

An excellent appointment today with Dr Grimston who was clearly interested in helping me and giving me her valuable time to explain my symptons and how the prescribed tablets would help. Very useful broader discussion about lifestyle and how that can help me to move forward. Followed up appt with links to several web sites with further appropriate and useful information. Gave me time to understand what would happen, not rushed or hurried at all. Very appreciative of her warm, friendly, caring and knowledgeable approach
